This one is just too much to believe. What are your thoughts about this America?

I would bet my retirement fund that October 13th will come and go without any alien contact. Then I'd double down my winnings on somebody else coming up with a new date sometime in the near future for alien contact.

I just didn't want to be the only one to say something similar...

I concur with the consensus of this 1.x thread.
This and the "end of the world", "rapture is coming on ..." and the 2012 Mayan thing -- all bunk.
Robot-zombie apocalypse is far more likely.

The 'transcenders'? Seriously, don't you think an advanced alien race could come up with a better name for themselves?
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely believe in some form of Drake's equation. However, when I read that the aliens are going to 'manifest in their corporeal form', I can pretty much rate that one as a 10 on my finely tuned 'bovine scatometer'.

Sounds like a plot for a tv show to me. If there are aliens, I don't think they would talk to someone through channeling. There may be aliens out there, but I doubt we will ever see them in this century. Or is he talking about illegal aliens? Si?

Any claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
It's almost 7 AM in London -- umm.. nothing yet. In 12 hours, it'll be 7 PM GMT-ish. Would they use USA time or UK time?
As always, this prediction, based on nonsense, will fall into the list of failed faux-prophecies.

I'm not exactly sure what time zone was used to calculate the timing of this event. The original article didn't state time zone. I think it just stated October 13th. It appears that this morning's US media is all ablaze, and rightfully so, but only about the Chilean miners. No mention of alien activity.
Everyone, make sure you let me know if you happen to see any alien activity today. And no, I am not talking about the US/Mexican border....
An expanded article about Stan Fullham's book: http://sites.google.com/site/challengesofchange/
Here's a video from YouTube that is an interview with Stanley Fullham:
No aliens yet, and I have been in my home office all day with two news channels on mute watching the miner rescue.
Ok, so firstly i do not want to seem that I am taking this issue lightly. I actually spent a great deal of time yesterday watching different city view cams of major cities, in the event that something did actually happen. I definitely watched the major cities in the southeast US where I live, as well as many other large cities such as Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, and New York City.
Unfortunately, I saw nothing. Nor did any news agency report anything unusual. However, upon waking up this morning the Today show (shown on CBS) featured a video from yesterday where several people in the NYC area actually did report UFO sightings. Firstly, this is not exactly the 'disclosure' that was spoken about in the article linked above. The article above actually stated that UFOs would hover over several major world cities. As far as I know so far, nothing unusual had been reported around the world yesterday either. Secondly, as with many other UFO videos, the video that was shown on the Today Show, was actually rather disappointing. The shaky, out of focus (aren't all UFO videos like this?) video that was shown did actually show several unexplained objects in the sky during the day. At least in my mind, there's little evidence to support whether these objects could be identified or not based solely on that video. There were several objects on the video, each appearing to be white or gray in color and they appeared as little dots on the screen. They did not appear to be flying in any formation that I could easily recognize.
According to the Today Show, these objects were explained as a balloon. Notice the difference between my use of singular versus plural. Restated, multiple objects were explained as a single balloon. Now, the focus in the video wasn't bad enough to cause artifacting. Personally, I lost count after I counted eight objects in the video. Dara Brown from CBS news reported this as 'a cluster of un-identified objects'.

I just watched that video a few minutes ago. Not exactly impressive, is it? What it reminded me of was a few plastic grocery bags that got lofted into the air by a stiff breeze. I don't know though. Maybe the aliens are really bright when it comes to crossing interstellar distances, but have truly awful communication skills... "Hmmm, what could we do to really grab these primitive humans' attention... Oh, I know! We'll float a few ambiguous, barely visible dots in the sky over them! There's no way they'll be able to ignore that!"
I live/work in NY. Saw people looking at that when it happened, and checked it out with my binoculars (always in my office desk) and they were hovering or floating. Not acting like any flying craft.
My phone didn't catch them, resolution is too low, but I tried. It looked like white or shiny objects, could definitely have been several balloons, but I can't see how it would be a single balloon.
I normally sleep till noon, and the weather yesterday (last couple of days) was very nice, few clouds.
Chirmly,
Any additional information pertaining to this subject that has came out of the local NYC news? Any claims of a mass balloon release yesterday in NYC?
Honestly, I was WAY less than impressed. However, there definitely was something there for sure.
I was more impressed, and still am, by the NASA footage. Although, I think the NASA/ISS footage merely shows space junk in orbit. If that is space junk, there sure is a lot out there. Which coincides with exactly what NASA has stated in previous years. It would appear that space in going to be the new Pacific spire.
People have been trying this for years, but I'd LOVE to get to the bottom of this UFO phenomenon. That's why I published my recent article on UFOs. I think just about everything that I have heard and read so far in 15 years of amateur UFO research is either total bunk or a partial truth based only on witness testimony. I'm waiting for something real evident to appear.
I'm also waiting for someone to explain this NYC phenomenon as swamp gas.....
I saw no additional coverage except for that one footage shown in the news. Looks unspectacularly like balloons.
Could be a school project, wedding, birthday, social event, could even be a practical joke arranged around the date...
They didn't do anything -- umm.. technological. They didn't arrange into a clever formation, or make themselves bigger and smaller or things like that.

Quoting a teacher :
"It was just a freak thing. Frankly I’m shocked by it," Angela Freeman, head of the Milestone School in Mount Vernon, who says her school inadvertently sent a cluster of balloons aloft.
"We didn’t send them up. The kids had an engagement part for a teacher and a mother brought four dozen balloons and she’s coming through the door, it is very windy in Mount Vernon, suddenly 12 of the balloons let loose."
